Nanna Grundfeldt is the winner of Finland’s Next Topmodel and the first out lesbian to win any of the over 30 versions of Top Model around the world, including the original. For a photoshoot they had to label a white shirt with an adjectiv that describes them most. Grundfeldt chose “Homo”.
“I’m so proud to be gay. I’m so lucky. I’m a woman and like women too! There’s nothing better. I thought at first I’d put something more than just ‘Homo’ on the hoodie, like ‘homo — who cares?’ but … It was a strong word and that was needed.” – Nanna Grundfeldt
