The Blog of Tony "T-Bird" Burgess: Yahoo Wants Tumblr...I Would Be Concerned -
Reports across the Web say that Yahoo wants to buy Tumblr. Friends this is a serious thing. Yahoo had a blogging platform called 360 a number of years ago but shut it down for business reasons. It bought Geocities the Web page building platform just to shut it down a few years ago.

Can someone from the sciencey side of tumblr please explain this ?
This is called shape memory. It’s made from an alloy of titanium and nickel (I believe it’s called nitinol). It has the ability to “remember” the shape it’s taken.
When cold you can bend it whatever which way, but once you heat it (or in this case put it in what I presume is hot water) it will take the original shape.
WHAT!!?!?!?!?
don’t ever tell me science isn’t cool

Even when I wasn’t dancing, I enjoyed this show. Now that I am dancing again, it’s even more fun to watch.

His favorite place to be
Cute animal reblog of the day.
This was one of my all time favorite pictures I have taken in my few years of doing photography.
The point of this picture and the people with bags over their heads is to represent what society does to genders. First off, people assume gender by body type but in this picture you could have two transgenders, one, both male, both female, or any other combination and we would still be the same… Human.
Now, women are victimized by wearing revealing clothing or not being afraid to show their bodies with pride as well as being comfortable with their sexuality, while a nearly nude male doing the exact same thing won’t be put down for showing off the body they have.
Regaurdless of what you take this message as, I just want everyone to realize that we are all the same kind and we are all unique. People have no right to judge another person by what they wear, or who they choose to be.
(For safety purposes on this picture I had taken a picture of this from my wall)

Those fuckers are out in full force this year.
Between our trip to the zoo and that tailgating outing on the edge of the woods, I am now covered in mosquito bites. Having not gotten seriously bitten in a good three years or so, I’ve forgotten how annoying these things can be. I’d pay good money for a tub full of calamine lotion right now.
I have a mosquito bite square on the top of my foot. this makes wearing work shoes a whole new experience. With all the rain we’ve had, and the resulting standing water, you can expect more of this all summer.
Save on.
